Catherine Pooler Ink Party Collection Release Blog Hop

newink-availablenowToday is the day!!!

It's been one year, almost exactly, since I started working on my dream of inks a reality.

It's been an amazing journey…mostly awesome…with a sprinkling of really hard days where I've either been banging my head against the wall, or a sobbing heap in the corner.

The day is finally here, you all have been so amazing and excited and the first stampers that have used our inks have given them rave reviews!  So all this goodness definitely outweighs the tough parts of bringing this gorgeous rainbow to market.

May I introduce you to the first 12 colors (plus midnight!)…the Party Collection of Ink Pads!

Much of this is covered in the video, but here is a run-down!

What is great about these inks?

  • Color coordination will be a snap!  Our first collection, the Party Collection is made up of all vibrant, saturated colors that will go together perfectly.  No more guessing which color goes with which!
  • No more splotchy images!  Two or three gentle LOVE TAPS are all you need to get full coverage on your stamp which transfers beautifully to your cardstock.
  • No more muddy, dirty stamped images when residue from a dark ink gets picked up by a light color!  (I had to show this to Randall about 15 times with different stamps and ink colors before he believed it.  #truestory)

How do CP Designs foam pads ink up clear stamps much more nicely than linen topped felt pads?? Foam transfers ink better to the stamps, and a well inked stamp produces a better quality image.

Simple as that.

Felt pads also usually end up getting a “depression” in the middle of the pad which makes it more difficult to ink stamps evenly, an issue that you will not experience with foam pads.

Foam pads release ink very easily on anything you touch, so experiment and play with them to get used to this amazing pad!  Sometimes I end up with some pretty inky fingers after stamping, but they wash up pretty well…and hey!  Inky fingers are the sign of a happy stamper!  I wear them as a badge of honor.

Catherine Pooler Designs are premium dye inks and they are all non-permanent, except for Midnight. Midnight is an archival dye ink, is permanent and is safe for watercoloring and for using alcohol ink markers.

Let's see them up close and personal!

These inks are available in the shop now!  You can purchase the ink pad, the ink refills, the new 8 colors in a bundle, all 13 colors in a bundle, the first 5 colors of ink refills in a bundle, etc…

(Our first five inks were first available in our Foundations Box, in case you missed that!)
