This Faux Shaker Card was pretty easy to make. Once I cut both layers from the Concentric Circles die, I made light pencil marks where the open parts of the top layer were so I knew where to place the sequins.
I added very thin strips of mounting tape to the top layer so that it sits up from the card base and gives room for all those lovely sequins underneath.
Very cool look with just a bit less work than a traditional shaker card.
To make this shaker card, cut both layers from the Concentric Circles Dies. Cut a piece of clear acetate the same size as the top layer and adhere together.
Add a thin strip of mounting tape along the entire perimeter of the die cut with the acetate adhered to it. Sprinkle sequins over it, avoiding the sticky mounting tape.
Lay another piece of white cardstock on top of the die cut with the acetate and sequins. Press down to ensure a good stick.
Trim the white cardstock to the same size as the shaker element. Assemble the rest of your card!
