I've been making this Diaper Fold Pouch for years now. It's always a great project for a small treat and takes minimal supplies. Really, you just need a bag of candy, some patterned paper and a brad, or you can gussy it up a bit more and add embellishments.
You can also make it different sizes. The only thing to keep in mind is your paper needs to be SQUARE. This one is a 6×6. The great thing about a 6×6 is that you can get FOUR out of one sheet of Designer Series Paper…and that means you can get 48 out of a whole PACK of DSP! For $10 – $12 you can't beat it!
I made a quick video to show you how quick and easy it is. See for yourself!
116795 Sleigh Bells Ribbon 10 yards for $7.95
116471 Sweet Season Stamp Set $18.95
115672 Merry Moments Designer Series Paper $9.95
103133 Read Red Ink Pad $5.95
109043 Scallop Circle Punch $15.95
116631 Paper Piercing Tool $3.95
105826 Mat Pack $9.95
109111 Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads $10.95 for 84 brads
103104 Small Flat Cello Bags $3.95 for 50…yes, you heard that right!
Here is another one for non-holiday gifts made from:
115675 Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper
109041 5 Petal Flower Punch
114342 Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Buttons
Be sure to check back tomorrow for another idea in my Holiday Gifts and Treats Smorgasboard!
I must confess…I got my Stampin' UpMini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration preorder the other day and thought to myself, “wow…that's not nearly enough!”, so I placed another order. It arrives on Monday! Boy am I glad all this is a tax write off! 😉 And I figure with all the classes and workshops I already have scheduled for January, I need a lot of new stuff to show my customers, right?!
Here is your first Sneak Peek of things to come…Clear Mount Stamps! Just to make sure, I don't want you to get the wrong idea…not clear stamps, just clear mount blocks. The stamps will still be our high-quality award winning rubber, you will now have the choice to get that rubbon on WOOD blocks, or on CLEAR blocks. Actually, if you choose to use clear blocks, you purchase them and can order each size seperately (9 sizes) or order them in a bundle at a about a 10% discount. These will be available on January 5, 2010.
2 things I love about the clear blocks so far:
The stamp sets store SMALL, so there is more room on my shelves for more stamps!
You can see through the clear block and get perfect placement of your stamped image! Woohoo!
I'm sure I'll be adding to this list, as I've only made 2 cards with the clear mount so far. View my video and you can get excited, too!
**Note: hubby pointed out that some of the stamps in this set were mounted already and I said the lion was the first one I mounted. He thought he caught me in a lie, hehe! I was borrowing Amy's set and she had already broke in and mounted some. So there! I wasn't lying! ;)**
For this card, I used Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Baroque Motifs, and the new Fox and Friends Stamp Set. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
I'll be back with more Holiday Gifts and Treats Smorgasboard ideas. Have a great Saturday!

updates…Just wanted to make sure you all knew that Stampin' Up has an update for My Digital Studio.
Open My Digital Studio. Along the top you will see, File, Edit, Arrange….etc…the last one isHelp. Hover over Help and a drop down menu will show up. The second option is “Check For Updates”. This will connect you with SU and it will walk you through it if there are any updates available….which there is one now to fix the bleed area issue when printing a bound book. You will want to do this every once in a while.
You still need to be careful when printing a calendar, though. Make sure there aren't any photos, embellishments, etc, because it is possibly that 1/4″ of each side and 1/2″ from the top and bottom will be cut off when printing.
Also, make sure your background goes ALL THE WAY OFF into the bleed section or you will end up with a white border all the way around your project.
Hope you found that helpful!
If you would like more information on My Digital Studio, click on My Digital Studio under Categories in the sidebar.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for another holiday idea, Stampin' Up's 12 Days of Christmas promotion and maybe a Sal-A-Bration Sneak Peek!? My friend Amy is coming over today and we are going to stamp with some of our new goodies that just arrived from the upcoming Mini Catalog that begins January 5!
Hello Stamper Friends! How darling is this little purse…read on to find out all the details!
I papercraft and my mother sews. I used to sew…then I discovered papercrafts, and me “not-so-sew” much now! When my mom came to visit over Thanksgiving, our worlds collided! She brought 2 bins of fabric with her, so we whipped out the Big Shot and we went nuts!
My oldest daughter, Anna, just turned 10 and she decided to make a quilt. My mom helped her cut the squares out with the 115950 Stampin' Up Scallop Square Die for the Big Shot. Mom helped her do the math and learn the basics of sewing on the machine. Within minutes she was on her own…she is so proud!
While she was sewing, I was using the 115970 Stampin' Up Flower Folds Die to make flower brooches and pins. Here's my mess (actually, I cleaned up for this photo, it was MUCH worse than this!):
Ideas for the brooches:
put pins on the back of the brooches to dress up a sweater or blouse, or add to a jacket
put a barrette on the back, they look so cute in little girl's hair!
hot glue or pin to a head band
tie a ribbon around a candle and attach the brooch
tie the brooch to a present and you have 2 gifts in one!
Here is a video showing you how to make them:
Tips for making the flower brooches:
hot glue is a lot easier than sewing the layers together
use the 2 or 3 smallest flowers on the die
cut through 8 layers of fabric at a time, I also found I got a better cut on the top layer when I put a piece of paper on the top cutting pad to add more thickness
I liked to have at least 3 of the same size and color flowers to work into my brooch
tulle layers look awesome!
My mom made these DARLING white purses for the girls to pin their flower brooches to. We made a bunch of different ones for all occasions.
E-mail me with photos if you try some of your own!

I came across your journal after I noticed one of your fantastic Christmas cards! I have to say, my favorite Christmas card of yours from this year is the Autumn Days wreath. So simple, so perfect! Thanks for sharing! And yes, the Finger Lakes are fabulous!
Miriam- email me your address and I'll pop them in the mail to you!
Since I can't share my first project and video in my Holiday Gifts and Treats Smorgasboard yet, (still having trouble with youtube!) I thought I would share some Stampin' Up news with you!
Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand from demonstrators and customers alike for a line of repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps. Well, you asked for it, and now you have it! Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin' Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.
Our new clear-mount rubber stamps are the result of extensive research with the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps.
Clear-Mount Rubber Stamp Features
Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.
Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.
Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.
Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.
Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.
Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.
There is a selection of non-mounted stamp sets in the Mini Catalog, and the Clear-Mount blocks will be available for customer purchase on January 5.
Sneak Peek Project! I came home from Founders' Circle in September with 3 stamp sets from the upcoming Mini Catalog. I had a few of my downline over to stamp with them. I'll be sharing them with you throughout the month. Here is the first one made with the set, Messages for Mom made by Cam Cao.
Mark your calendars now for my Sale-a-Bration and Mini Catalog Open House – January 3rd and 4th!
PS. Still working on the video…Youtube is NOT cooperating with me! And I'm exhausted from the car ride, we have a 7 year old birthday today and tonight and my oldest and I are running a 5K in the morning…so hang with me! It's comin'! 😉
