Southern Caribbean, April 2010 is the next Stampin’ Up incentive trip and I failed to mention that I earned it a few weeks ago!  yipeee!
Here is our ship!

Thanks to all my stampin’ friends that are a part of my business and a part of my life.  I appreciate all of you!

Thanks, Lauren, for this beautiful card!  She made it using the gorgeous stamp set, Friends and Friendly Words wheel.

It brightens my day when I leaf through the mail and there is a hand addressed envie there!  What a wonderful surprise!

Stamp A Stack Samples

Catherine Die Cutting, Projects

Take a peek at the fun cards from my recent Stamp A Stack!

Simple Friendship with Shimmery White Cardstock, Basic Grey and Pink Pirouette.

Sense of Time with More Mustard and Close to Cocoa.

Inspired By Nature, It’s Your Birthday, Scallop Oval (Big Shot), Urban Garden Designer Series Paper.

This is a fun and cheerful card using the Good Friend stamp set.

More Fishes…

Catherine Projects

This was my swap card from our shoebox swap using Just Beachy.

My main reason for purchasing this set was that I can’t wait to scrapbook with it!

I used the Polka Dot texture plate for the Big Shot on the Pacific Point card base.  Once I stamped the fish in Stazon Black ink, I colored them in using my ink pads and blender pens.  Then I used my sponge dauber to sponge Pacific Point ink around the fishies.

The scallop border punch came in handy to make the top of the water (sorry I can’t give credit to who I got that idea from…).  I also used Pumpkin Pie ribbon, Yo Yo Yellow cardstock and Family Phrases stamp set.

More from the Mini

Catherine Projects

Here is another sample I made with Just Beachy…I was inspired right before the Hawaii trip.  Love the orange and pink together along with the Polka Dot Texture Plates!

Another with Just Beachy and the coordinating Lazy Days Wheel.  I used the big Scallop circle for the Big Shot with this one.

Grace Bullen’s swap card using Just Beachy.

And Vicki Dorroh made this delightful sample in my favorite, Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip.

Circle punches, Circle Scissors, Oval Punches, Very Versatile stamp set, eyelet border punch.  If you are a club member, you might just be seein’ this one soon!  I love this simple and adorable card!

Scene In a Garden

Catherine Projects

I love the blues and browns in this one.  We used Parisian Breeze DSP on a Kraft cardstock base and Baja Breeze ribbon.  We used the Watercolor Crayons with the aquapainters on Watercolor paper.  This gives you that wonderful watercolored look that I love.  I used Bordering Blue to make the shadows.

My friend, Kecia and I watercolored this last week…we had such a blast, taking our time and enjoying the art.  How fun!  And how lucky was I to get a “private lesson” from the art teacher at our elementary school!  (Kecia=art teacher!)

How much do I love that Summer Sun corduroy button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Versatile in Eggplant

Catherine Die Cutting, Projects

I had a Shoebox Swap with some of my downline last week using new Mini Catalog goodies.  I wanted to share some of the cards with you over the next few days.

Tracey Renaud made this simple and gorgeous card using Very Verses.  She used one of my favorite colors that I rarely use (how silly is that), Elegant Eggplant.

Salina Kohut used Forest Friends to make this fun card in Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa.

Mother’s Day Canvas

Catherine 3D Projects, Projects

I got down and dirty and straight up CRAFTY last weekend!  Look what I made!  It’s basically a scrapbook page on a canvas.  I love how it turned out and I can’t wait to send it to my mom for Mother’s Day (close your eyes, mom!).  If you love it too, go to my events page and register for the class coming up on the 29th and 30th of this month.

I used Parisian Breeze Designer Series Paper, Baja Breeze Ribbon, Flower Fusion Too, Rhinestone Brads, Corduroy Buttons, chipboard, Define Your Life and Defining Alphabet stamp sets.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Catherine 3D Projects, Die Cutting, Projects

I made a quick trip into school today to deliver these sweet little bunny baskets to the teachers.  How cute are they?  We also made them in club this month.

I’ve seen different variations of the bunny and I modified from a few different ones I saw.  We used the Top Note, Oval Punches, 1/2 and 1/4″ circle punches, Fine Cosmo Glitter on the carrots (notice the upside down Trendy Trees, thanks Kimberly for the idea!), and the Heart to Heart punch.  I just noticed that you can’t see the actual box!  It’s made from the scallop envelope die for the Big Shot.  Cut out 4 of them and glue together all around, fold in the bottom and you got a box!

I’m lovin’ today!  It’s Thursday, but it feels like a Friday…and tomorrow IS Friday!  My favorite day of the week!  I just get happy on Fridays.  And I’m still happy even though I hear the screamin’ 6 year old downstairs.  She’s hungry (which makes her very cranky), but won’t eat the yogurt she opened.  She aint gettin’ anything else til that yogurt is GONE!  Luckily I bought some Margarita mixer today at the grocery!  LOL!

Birds and Trees

Catherine Die Cutting, Projects

I wanted to share with you some of the make and takes from my downline gathering last month.

Kim Allen designed this one using the great new set Thoughts and Prayers, Top Note die, Texture Plates and Lots of Tags die.

Nerissa Behrmann designed this one and used Bird on a Branch.  I’ll be honest with you…when I read the name of this set, I laughed out loud.  Bird on a Branch?  That just sounds so funny to me…is it just me?

Sweet Celebrations

Catherine Die Cutting, Projects

For my  big downline meeting way back in January where we celebrated them reaching 1 million dollars in sales (how awesome is that!?  Imagine 1 million dollars worth of Stampin’ Up goodies!), I made tent cards and wrote a note to my downline inside.  I had some left over after the event and they were so cute, so I cut half of the top note off and attached them to full cards!

The Top Note is wheeled with the Kindness Wheel, then I stamped a few of the images from Sweet Celebrations on white and Pink Pirhouette.  Then went to town with my scallop circle, 1 3/4″, 1 1/4″ and 1″ circle punches.  I used a little bit of Stampin’ Up’s Candy Lane Designer Series Paper along the bottom with the scallop border punch.

For this one, I simply ran white cardstock through the Big Shot with the new Texture Plates!  LOVE them!  If you want to try them out, come to one of my upcoming events.

If you would like to see more samples with the Sweet Celebrations stamp set, visit the gallery.

This card makes me HAPPY!  I normally would not pair these colors together…Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss, but I think they are the BOMB on this card!

I used this card for a downline event and for club last month.

We stamped the cupcake top from Big Bold Birthday in versamark, poured on Heat and Stick powder, heated, then poured on Chocolate Glitter or Orange Glitter.  YUMMY!  Since the Heat and Stick turns clear and sticky, the glitter sticks to it!

Of course we used the Polka Dot Texture Plates, the Circle Scissors, Go Go Boots Alphabet (Big Shot) and my favorite corduroy buttons!
