Love You Much

Catherine Projects

My friend, Lauren added this great sample to the gallery yesterday!  I LOVE how she used the flower punch to add a cutie little flower attached with a brad.  I also love the simplicity of this card.

To see more samples with Love You Much, check out the gallery   And if you have creations to share as well, you can register as a user and upload as well!  Here are some tips to help you get started posting.

I hope everyone is having a great day!  Our 2 oldest kids just got home from school…yes, they went to school on a Saturday.  Well, when you go to a year round school, that’s what happens!  The school is being used every day of the year except on holidays, so there’s no weekdays to make it up!

To tell you the truth, Randall and I were high-fiving each other when we found out!  4 hours at home with just ONE child!  So we went to the gym to work out together (which NEVER happens), then we went to pick out hardwoods (thanks to Stampin’ Up and my wonderful customers, I FINALLY get hardwood floors!!!).  I know…super exciting. LOL

Have a great day!

Valentine Candy Tin

Catherine Projects

I made this fun little tin and had it at my downline meeting the other day and it was a hit!

It was so super easy, I just took mini snickers bars, wrapped them in the Candy Lane DSP that Stampin’ Up has in the Love You Much bundle.  Then I wrapped the tin with a belly band, stamped some hearts with white craft ink, punched them out with the brand new heart punch and glued them on.  Viola!  Somethin’ CUTE!!!

SNOW is rare in Raleigh, NC!

Catherine Projects

I was planning a scrapbook class project recently and was thinking about doing a snowman page when one of my friends reminded me that it hasn’t snowed here in years.  Well, now we NEED that page!!!!!

We have several inches and it’s still snowing!

I had been watching my downline’s sales for a good 6+ months when I realized they were approaching 1 Mill ion in sales.  Wow!  Can you imagine that?  They hit that goal in November, so we had a big party on Saturday!  We had recognition, business topics, demonstrations, a yummy catered meal and make and takes galore!  Check it out! Happy Hearts

Catherine Projects

This was one of the layouts that my Extreme Scrapbooking club gals did this month.  I was really pleased with how it turned out!  It uses A Happy Heart Stamp set, Candy Lane DSP, the Word Window Punch, Rididng Hood Red Taffeta ribbon, scallop border punch and yupper…the Top Note!!!

See more samples using A Happy Heart here.  This set is available through January 18!

Top Note – Kind Thoughts

Catherine Projects

I was inspired by someone’s card on Splitcoaststampers.  I love the reverse of the Big Shot Top Note Die.  I simply used the frame that was left when I cut it out and sponged Pretty In Pink ink inside!

I layered Pink Pirhouette with Riding Hood Red.  I also used the Riding Hood Red Tafetta Ribbon, which I LOVE!  See more samples with the Kind Thoughts stamp set here.

Candies anyone?

Catherine Projects

I tried to post this last week, but it’s somewhere in cyberspace.  yikes!

You might know that my kids were tracked out of school for the month of December.  We had a fabulous time with holiday prep including LOTS of baking, candy making and crafting!

We made these candies with lots of fun fillings like marshmallow fluff, caramel, peanut butter, cherries… don’t they look so pretty here with the ribbon and tag?

We also made candies to deliver to our neighbors.  it was fun running up and down the street handing out our goodies…felt like Halloween in reverse!  The kids had a ball.

I know this is Christmas, but maybe you can get inspired for Valentine’s Day!  Just switch out the ribbon and add a heart tag and you’ve got a great little goodie for friends, neighbors, teachers, etc.

Kind Thoughts…

Catherine Projects

Kind Thoughts is my most favoritist stamp set on the retiring stamp set list.  I just love, love it.

For this card, I used Rose Red craft ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then, I sponged Pretty in Pink ink over the top of it.  Embossed the butterfly, cut it out and attached it with a dimensional.  Just gorgeous, huh?

Monogrammed Notecards

Catherine Projects

I love giving monogrammed notecards as a gift.  My daughter’s kindergarten teacher got married over Christmas break and I made a set for her.  They went to Mexico and got hitched on the beach, so I decided to use Seaside and heat emboss the shells with Irridescent Ice Embossing paper.  Then I made a matching box.  I was pretty happy with how it came out!
