Going Bananas for Backgrounds

Making backgrounds is one of my favorite parts of card making. There are so many ways you can create different textures and patterns for your background. These can take your clean and simple card designs and make them sensational!

Embossing Folder

Embossing folders are a great way to bring pattern AND texture to your project. The Jungle Impressions 3-D folder has a lush jungle and animal texture design. With various ink blending and swiping, you can get gorgeous results!

Layered Stencil

Layered stencils make you an instant artist! The It's a Jungle Out There Layered Stencil has four different stencils that layer together, giving you the option for multiple colors on your background. With our Detail Blending Brushes, you can add even more colors to the various flowers in the design.

Circle Stamping

In my last card, I grabbed the Stamp and Spin Tool to create a fun wreath of leaves with the Stay Wild Stamp Set. Here is a similar card showing this technique. Stamping circle patterns is not only beautiful but it's also so much fun!!
