Techniques with the Suite Motel Key Dies

Our newest release, Eau de Perfection, is now in the shop! We are loving the bold and retro Suite Motel Key Dies along with the Open Doors Stamp Set! Let's look at various ways to make your keys pop and shine!

Metallic Ink

Using the CPD Metallic Pigment Ink is a quick and easy way to give the key and keyring a realistic feel. I used Rose Gold on this card and also on the sentiment so it all ties together. The metallic ink is really easy to swipe onto the die cut images and shimmers as it catches the light!

Erika and Amanda both used embossing powders on these keys and keyrings. There are such a wide variety of embossing powder options out there so the texture and finish options are endless!!

Direct to Paper

Keep it simple by just inking up the die cut pieces! Kristie used the direct to paper method on all of her key and charm bits which looks clean and fun. Amanda created a key topper with this method over a chunky embossed key. What a fun way to mix things up! What's your favorite method?
