The KEY to Creating a Fun Background…

CatherineGeneral

Creating backgrounds for your cards can be so much fun! Our Design Team often come up with a wide variety of ways to use their supplies to create show-stopping backgrounds! Let's get inspired by them…

Use a Background Stamp

Kristie used the Lots of Locks Background Stamp two ways on these cards. Using white ink on kraft paper, Kristie created a subtle lock pattern. On her second card, Kristie embossed the stamped image in white and ink blended over the bottom to make the images pop!

White on White with Die Cuts

Why not cut and paste a custom background with dies? Kristie cut a bunch of keys with the Suite Motel Key Dies in white and arranged them over white stock. This pattern has a lot of fun movement but still gives a clean background for her sentiment key and keychain.

Build Your Own with Small Image Stamps

Erika and Amanda both had the same idea when they looked at the three key stamps in the Charming Key Stamp Set. Amanda went with one color and cut down her background piece to center over patterned paper. Erika made her background with a variety of colors and added some ink splatter. Both are eye-catching and fun!
