Following our World Card Making Day weekend, you have hopefully been working on all your holiday cards! Let's take a look at a couple cards with a simple layout that can be tweaked or embellished in a variety of ways.
These two cards have the same basic layout and elements, but with small changes, you have a totally different card!
Start with a layer from our Cookies from Santa Patterned Paper Pack, add a Scallop Tag Duo frame, and adorn with the Santa mug from our new Holidays Mug Shots Stamp Set!
I picked a different paper from the Cookies from Santa Patterned Paper Pack for the second card. Add a Rectangle Die adorned with the Dotted Frames Hot Foil Frames, stamp a statement greeting and add some Holiday Mug Shots and a linzer cookie from the Jar Full of Joy – so cute!
This card was super easy and would be great for mass production. Cut your rectangle die layers and add a sentiment. Stamp, color and die cut your Holiday Mug Shot images and then layer it all over a piece of patterned paper- mixing and matching for stacks of cute cards!
This card makes me giggle! The lights patterned paper from the Holiday De-lights Patterned Paper Pack makes a great backdrop for a row of Christmas trees (in non-traditional colors, yes, PLEASE!!!) and a simple sentiment. This did NOT take me forever to make, but it's darling and you can make a bunch very quickly.
Patterned paper backgrounds, like this one from the Holiday De-Lights pack, are a quick and easy way to add some much color and pattern to your cards. Try cutting out tags and layering them up for a cute focal point for your sentiment and little stamped icons.
…and if simple is not your thing- you can kick it up a notch or three with a shaker card! This card has a lot more steps to creating it but the finished product is both fun and interactive.
