Layers and the Poppin’ Wheelies Bundle!

Catherine General

I can't get enough of the Poppin' Wheelies Bundle from our Fair Play Collection, featuring the School's Out Stamp Set and Dies. I've made a bunch of cards with this bundle and even mixed in a few items from the rest of the collection!

I started this card with a bright and playful color combo. I ink blended Cotton Candy on the card layer, then stamped the Poppin' Wheelies Background Stamp in Party Dress. I inked each of the letters in the Yippee Word Die in rainbow colors, choosing our lightest shades of ink from the Party Color Wheel. Download your FREE Color Wheel here!

I added a small strip of paper from the Blue Ribbon Patterned Paper, which tied in the green on the turtle stamp. Yippee!

How sweet is this little hula hooping mouse from the School's Out Stamp Set? With this card, I used the Skyscape Mini Cover Plate to create a focal point. The Blue Ribbon Patterned paper added pops of pattern and detail.

Chalk effect time!! This card was what I envisioned when we created the Recess Stamp Set with the hop scotch stamp. I stamped with white pigment ink on black cardstock to create the sidewalk chalk feel. I colored in a few critters with my CP inks and blender pens over watercolor cardstock. This card is so great for a teacher thank you, before the kids head off on summer break.

Using layers with this bundle has been my jam! I integrated several of my Classic CPD dies like the Nested Stitched Hearts and the Dotted Circle Dies. I added some bling with the WOW! Cotton Candy Sparkles. Coloring the bunny in Cotton Candy made us all giddy and I just had to add the pop of green with the Grass Border Die.

Heading back to this color combo…it's just so summery and sweet!! I grabbed the Playful Pinwheels Cover Plate Die and did some inlaying. I filled some of the empty spots with Cotton Candy Sparkles and speaking of Cotton Candy…I did a pink mouse too! I cut down a tag die to add the sentiment and let the background be the star.

The Poppin' Wheelie's Bundle is so versatile. I can't wait to see what YOU will create with these crafty supplies!
