Everyone is loving the Playful Pinwheels Cover Plate that is part of our Fair Play Collection. This cover plate can be used in a variety of ways and is a great background addition to any card.

Erika used the Playful Pinwheel in a traditional way for her card. She just die cut in white over white to add a subtile texture and interest to this sweet card.

Kristie changed up her die cutting “sandwich” and used her cover plate to emboss her card background. I love the quilted look this technique gives the card.

On this one, she used the negative pieces from her die cut piece to create a geometric design on her card. She popped each piece up with a bit of foam tape to give great dimension.

Mellissa got a two-for and I just love her smart use of the extra pieces. She ink blended her card layer before die cutting and used the colored negative pieces to inlay back into a white die cut piece. She just chose a few random spots and colored shapes to put in creating an eye catching look!

Lisa inlaid her whole background with individually inked pieces. Just ink them one by one and glue them back into the open spaces to create a funky and fun look. Now that's what we call play time in your crafty space!
