The Around the Loop Nested Dies and companion Fancy Loop Die were created to work together for layers and shakers and all sorts of fun design elements on your hand made cards. These dies are straight edged ovals that are a perfect shape and size for adding a focal point to your standard A2 cards.
On its own, the Fancy Loop Die is just such a pretty addition. I used the direct to paper method to color the die on this card. It creates a lacy focal point which I decorated with stamped and die cut flowers.
Here I just cut and added it to the card horizontally and trimmed off the edge. I like the asymmetry of this look.
You can use the two sets of dies together to get more options! Here I used S'mores on the whole die but using one of the Around the Loop Nested Dies, I cut the scalloped edge away from the outside piece. I layered it with another frame cut with the nested dies to add a glitter embossed edge.
Double the fun I finished this card off with the S'mores edge I had left from the last card. I love when you get a two for one and the look of this two-toned decorative frame.
