The Jack Frost Cover Plate Die has a beautiful geometric snowflake design. This pattern creates a beautiful background layer for your cards but why not try using the negative pieces too?
Kristie created these two cards doing just that. She cut out the cover plate from a foiled cardstock and used it as the star of her “holly jolly card”. I love how shiny and festive it is.
She then pieced one of the snowflake designs onto a circle die to create the ornament card. By using the negative pieces of the die, Kristie got double duty for her cards. The design works perfectly as an ornament and is so ornate and eye catching. What other cover plate dies do you have that could be used like this?
