When working with line art stamps for your holiday cards, you have options for coloring from simple to multi-shaded masterpieces!

In my first video for the Holiday Card Making Series, I demonstrating coloring techniques using both Copic Markers and Blender Pens with CP ink. Coloring the images in the Old Saint Nick Stamp Set has been endlessly enjoyable this year!

Check out the video to see all the tips and tricks for coloring with CP inks and Copic Markers as well as adding details with embossing powders!
With Copic Markers, choose your main color and then use shades a few levels lighter and darker to add highlights and shadow to your image. Just adding some darker lines around the edges of Santa's coat brings so much life to the image. A little detail of embossing is also a great addition.

You can also match to your stamping and patterned paper by choosing to color with your coordinating CP Inks. Tap some ink on an acrylic block or mixed-media surface and use blender pens to color away! You can still build shadow and interest by layering up your ink color. (look at that White Puff embossed trim!!)
No matter what medium, style or skill level, coloring your holiday creations can be a lot of fun.
