The All Things Fall Collection Features the Pie Day Bundle and this one is super yummy! I just can't stop making pie cards!
I had to try the new Coffee with Catherine Trio and Cargo WOW! Embossing Powders on the pie tin portion of this “side pie”! (you know, the view of the pie from the side!)
I love the textures of these cool, chunky Embossing Powders that WOW created just for Catherine Pooler Designs. I paired them with a few non-traditional colors from the Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Patterned Paper to stamp the tops.
This card is nearly monochromatic! Focusing on Apricot and Spiced with a pop of Rockin' Red Cherry filling, this card came out so cute. I used the Scallop Tag Duo Dies and the Criss Cross Applesauce Cover Plate to polish this off.
The not-quite-perfect scalloped edges of the Skyscape Mini Cover Plate mirror a hand-crimped pastry edge! This paired perfectly with the Pie Day images. The plaid paper makes my heart happy!
One more with similar supplies but this time I created a trio of pies. Instead of just stamping, I used a technique of apply ink with a blending brushes to add some texture. It gives a more organic look to the crust on these yummy pies.
