Adding Critters to Cards

Sometimes it's fun to make a card with some simple elements and dies…and sometimes that card needs a little somethin-somethin to make it just right. Lately, for me, that little somethin' is a cute critter!

In come the darling little guys in the Puddle Play Stamp Set. This fox with his rain hat is perfect to adorn the Shine Bright sentiment!

This one was so simple to start. I used a color blended piece to cut out the Shine Bright Word Die and then embellished with a couple scraps of patterned paper and rounded out my sentiment with the Shine Bright Sentiments Stamp Set.

This card needed a focal point and the fox was perfect. I stamped and added a little flower to his rain hat to make him “sparkle more”! How cute is he perched on the “t” of the word bright? Catch the replay of this Facebook Live Stream here.

On this card I used the Sunburst Strips Cover Plate and the Date Night Inks to create this beautiful background. This card didn't need much adornment with its vibrant background, but the little heart popped up was a great place to add both the rest of the sentiment and this fluffy friend. I did some simple coloring on him and used coordinating colors for the umbrella. He was clearly born to shine!

This card started with rainbow ink blending over the Triangle Stencil. Then I added Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the top with the Stars Stencil for a really fun background.

Why not add a puffin on a card for instant cuteness?

Wanna take it over the top? Add a graduation cap for the perfect graduation card!

I made this card for Anna's roommate, who just graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and you can watch how I made it on this Facebook Live Stream!

and one more…these critters from the Critter Crew Stamp Set bring an instant smile to your face! Stamp the gifts from the Wrap it Up Stamp Set for birthday card perfection! You can view the Facebook Live where I made this card HERE!
