The Bright Days Stamp Set and dies are part of our Creative Thinking Collection. This light bulb themed stamp set was designed to combine our love of shapes in design and the iconic symbols of ideas and light. These are such fun images to put on cards for anyone on your list! Let's look at different ways our Brand Ambassadors used their Bright Days Stamp Set…
Daniel made this little black and white with a pop number. By coloring and shading in the heart shaped filament, these bulbs become sweet love hearts that pair perfectly with the “you make my heart glow” sentiment. such an easy way to add color to these stamped images.
On this one, Daniel used bright and cheery blends of yellows two ways. On the card on the left, he used the emboss resist technique- starting by embossing the bulbs in white and then blending over them with shades of golden yellow inks. On the right, he just colored in the light globes with the warm glow of yellow. A few Menlo Park Sequins are a great finishing touch.
Ilina created a rainbow on her card. Using a variety of ink shades, she colored and shaded inside the image globe. I love the subtle radiance that give the feel of multi-colored lights.
She added a little pop by coloring the center filaments in pink and adding a layer of clear embossing powder. This gives the card extra shine and makes the pink hearts stand out.
This technique is perfect for quick color! Ilina turned each stamp over and stamped in Catching Rays and created the image shape in a solid layer. Then flipped the stamps over to the right side and added the details in black. She created this fun background pattern and then just popped up the white embossed sentiment. This technique would also be fun in multiple colors!
