Nothing says all that and “dim sum” like the Hey There Dumpling Stamp Set from our new Love-N-Hearts Mini Collection!
This stamp set has layering stamps that create the most adorable sushi-night inspired characters. They even have little faces you can add for an extra little something.
I created this card on Facebook Live Stream and included the fabulous I Love You Soy Patterned Paper, Romance Sequins and the Hearts and Tags Dies (which I'm a SUPER FAN of!!!).
I love the colors and the layering…I mean, the little hearts die cut through the bottom of the tag is too cute! Catch the replay here.
The next three cards were created on this Facebook Live Stream. I started with the color palette from our I Love You Soy Patterned Paper Pack which includes the colors: Be Mine, Samba, Do-Si-Do, Mint to Be, & Cummerbund.
A couple dumplings, strips of patterned paper and you're done!
This busy pattern from the I Love You Soy Patterned Paper Pack…I've been so excited to use it! It is perfect for using with the Mini Take Out Box with its heavy concentration of pattern.
It was also perfect for use on this card…just a strip at the bottom along with a skinny stripe looks fabulous! I'm also a sucker for creating “collages” of stamp images like I did on this card. It's so fun to arrange the pieces, it's kinda like playing with Colorforms from back in the day!
This stamp set can be used for an entirely different look. I traced a heart from the Heart Trio Slimline Die, then filled it in with the various sized hearts from the Hey There Dumpling Set. Don't forget about those small stamps we pack in our sets! You can get a ton of mileage out of them!
Try different color combos when building your sushi. On this card, I used the striped paper from the I Love You Soy Patterned Paper as my color inspiration. Do-Si-Do, Be Mine, Mint-to-Be and Cummerbund look perfect together!
Here's Ilina's take on pairing these stamps and the Heart Trio Slimline. This one shows the variety of pieces in the set you can pair up to make sushi using one stamp in three different ways.
Ashlee paired the Heart Trio Slimline Die with Hey There Dumpling stamped and die cut images. Why not try an out-of-the-take-out-box color combo for your sushi? This card uses the same basic stamps but a variety of colors for an extra bit of whimsy!
These stamps make the perfect embellishments for our Mini Take-Out Box Die. I love how Ashlee coordinated her card and treat box by using the same patterned paper.
Why not just go with a one layer background featuring one stamp like this card from Ilina? Stamping this in two colors, she created her own repeating pattern. It's like custom stamped patterned paper!
