Water Techniques and Ink Blending on Die Cuts

Some die cuts can be used without their coordinating stamps, have a look at your stash and see what you’ve got! Experiment and play and have some fun.

Try ink blending on die cuts, then adding splotches of water and flicks of metallic paint!

Catherine Pooler Designs Ink is a dye, water based ink and is fabulous for ink blending. It also reacts with water, so flick on some water and watch it work it’s magic! You’ll be left with water droplets that lighten the color and give a fun texture to your projects.

I just had to create a pumpkin patch with a scarecrow peeking out of it!

The Wrap It Up Stamp Set which has fun patterns and geometrics on them, but the die cut shapes are cute with a rainbow of ink blending on them, too! Add them to a Slimline Card for a rainbow row of birthday presents!

The Doodle Window Die is striking with Black Tie Gala Paper behind it and really make those presents pop!
