Holiday Card Making with the Jolly Holiday Collection

We’ve been celebrating the Jolly Holiday Collection release and I’ve been getting inky! Here is a recap of the cards we created on Facebook Live Stream last week.

I used the String Lights Background Stamp to create two cards. The first one has a stunning Cranberry Fizz background that I created using the Direct-to-paper Technique. Simple swipe your ink pad across your cardstock to create perfectly matching cardstock for all your card making projects!

I embossed the String Lights Background over it with Gold Embossing Powder. Then added some tags from our Layered Tags set along with a sentiment and a Jolly tree.

On this card, I stamped the String Lights Background in black, then used a peppermint candy stamp, but the reverse side of it and stamped the colors over the lights. Top it off with a sentiment and a candy cane for a cute holiday card.

This card was inspired by my friend, Laurel Beard. She created a card with the Caroling Sentiments Stamp Set and embossed the image in white on black. I thought that was a fabulous idea!

I then embossed the image on patterned paper, cut it out and added it over the hat and scarf.

I finished it off with my favorite, pink snowflakes! and a strip of pink holly and berries paper for a sweet winter card.

This card started with a Cranberry Fizz piece of cardstock as well! Add the Peppermint Twist Cover Plate over it with foam tape for dimension. Emboss the Merry Christmas Die in White Puff Twinkle and top with an elf hat!
