Slimline Card Making is all the rage right now and we are jumping on this fun trend! You may be wondering what a Slimline Card is!

Basically, a Slimline Card is a tall card that fits into a business size envelope. We find cutting your 8.5 x 11″ cardstock to 7 x 8.5″ and folding it in half is a perfect size for a #9 or #10 size envelope.

When you cut your cardstock at 7 x 8.5, you'll have a 4.5 x 8.5″ piece of cardstock left over. You can cut this down to 3.25 x 8.25 for a Slimline Card Layer, or use this piece to use with one of our new Slimline Dies or Stencils!

Brand new in our shop, you'll find 5 new products made just for Slimline Dies. The Rainbow Slimline die was used on the card above and you'll see me create with it in the video below.

I used a Spa Color Palette of muted colors of the rainbow, check out these colors here.

You can also create a vibrant rainbow with inks from our Party Collection, see those inks here. Try the cut outs from our Slimline Rainbow Die on a traditional size card as well!

I was inspired by Brand Ambassador, Kristie Goulet to add some pizzazz to my rainbows, so I stamped images from the Fearless Pursuit Stamp Set and added Nuvo Drops for fun.

Check out the Live Stream Replay video to see how to cut cardstock for Slimlines and get a peek at all the fun!
