4 Ways to use Large Butterfly Stamp

I don't know about you, but a big card-sized patterned butterfly stamp certainly brings me joy!  Complete with floral adorned wings, The Wings of Joy Stamp Set is ready to be inked up in your favorite CP colors or dusted with a glittery embossing powder.

The first card here has used the emboss resist technique. Embossing the butterfly in WOW! white and blending color over top makes for a gorgeous pop of a butterfly!

Who wouldn't want to make a shaker card out of this guy? Here is the second idea. Using the coordinating die, I was able to cut out a butterfly shaped window for the shaker. I just love how it takes up the whole card front.

For a third idea, why not stamp the butterfly in a more subtile color to create a soft background. I stamped the Big Thanks sentiment right over and embellished it all off with some Wanderlust Embossing Glitter.

The fourth idea is a bit more traditional. Ink up your stamp with two colors to create an ombre effect. Add a strip sentiment, and this card is ready for the mailbox!

These cards were all created on our Facebook Live Streams. If you haven't joined us, or you missed some, or your just looking for something to watch while crafting, you can find the replays here.

If I had planned ahead, I would have bought some butterfly stamps for this month. I’ve been freehand drawing them in my bullet journal all month. I love stamps, they’re so easy and the lines look so clean.
