Rainbow with Catherine Pooler Inks

Whether you have a few or a whole collection of CP inks, you may get the feeling that we are pretty into hitting the whole spectrum of the rainbow! From pink tones, red-orange, green-blues, and all the way to your violet hues- we've got you covered!

Today, I thought it would be fun to look at a couple of rainbow inspired cards! So break out your ROYGBIV and get to creating!

Black and white with a pop is one of my favorite looks. It is sharp and modern. These two cards featuring stamps and dies from the Out West Collection are working that look…hard!

Going with a bit of a back to front order with CP Minis, we added stripes of color direct to paper; Something Borrowed, Lime Ricky, Tiara, and Tutti Frutti.

That was spritzed with water and then after it dried, die cut with the Dream Big Word die. This gave us to layers to work with. Stamping corresponding sentiments from the Dream Big Sentiment Set in black on white created a perfect background to showcase our rainbow word dies.

This card is a stenciling thing of beauty and features an array of Party Colors. Using the Twisted Sunburst Stencil and a blending brush, each section or two of the stencil is colored with a different ink blending and overlapping as they go. It created a gorgeous full color rainbow effect!

The sentiment panel is layered over top and features stamps from the Say It In Diamonds stamp set. That's it! Simple yet stunning!

Grab your favorite mix of rainbow colors and let the sunshine in your craft room!
