Climbing Flowers Background Stamp with Tracie Pond

ErikaGeneral

Hello Everyone! It is Tracie and I am excited to be here today on Catherine's blog. I have two cards to share with you today using the gorgeous Climbing Flowers Background Stamp.

For my first card I started by white heat embossing the Climbing Flowers Background on white cardstock. Then I colored the image with Catherine Pooler Inks (It’s a Girl, Party Dress, Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, Lime Rickey, Limoncello, Tiara and Orange Twist) and a Zig Blender Pen. I went on to color the background with Copic N0.

Proceed by creating the sentiment. Die-cut the Smile die using Mirrors cardstock. Die-cut again using craft foam. Adhere together. Coat the sentiment with Nuvo Glitter Gloss and then coat with Nuvo Crystal Glaze and let dry.

Assemble your card. Add a background layer using grey cardstock. Attach die-cut sentiment.

For my second card I started by stamping the Climbing Flowers Background in Midnight on white cardstock. Let the ink dry. Ink blend the background with your favorite ink blending tool and colors. The colors I selected are: It’s a Girl, Party Dress, Sweet Sixteen and Pixie Dust. I really like pinks and purples together.

Proceed by creating the sentiment. Simply die-cut the Thanks die using white opal glitter cardstock.

Assemble your card. Attach background panel with craft foam. Attach sentiment with liquid glue. You can also pop up the sentiment, but I liked how the ink blended colors reflected on the sentiment when adhering flat.

Now it is your turn. Share with us what you were inspired to create and please hashtag #catherinepoolerdesigns, so we can admire it and leave you some love.
Have a beautiful day. =) Tracie
