Hello! This is Jen Carter from Jen's Ink Spot and I am excited to be guesting on Catherine's blog today!
The World Awaits stamp set is one that can be used in so many ways and for this card I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I started by heat embossing the images with white embossing powder on a card panel. I then used an aqua brush and my Catherine Pooler inks to watercolor the images.
To do this, I just smooshed a little bit of each ink color onto the lid of the ink pad and then picked it up with my water brush. This transferred the ink nicely. The ink colors I used are Be Mine, Garden Party, All That Jazz, Tiara, Bellini & Pixie Dust.
I took a piece of vellum and stamped the sentiment, also from The World Awaits stamp set, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder as well. Because my water coloring was done on a card panel I was then able to fold the vellum over each side of the cardstock panel and adhere to the back side. I then attached the entire panel to a white card base.
Thank you for joining me today!
