We are in the middle of our celebration of StampNation's 9th Birthday! We are celebrating in true SN style with a party we are calling “9 Days, 9 Ways”. During the month of January, we have 9 video tutorials and creative inspiration pieces to inspire you to create birthday cards and kick the year off right!
Since today is also my birthday, I thought I would share some fun birthday card ideas featuring word dies.
At CP Designs, we have a big love for large script word dies. This card from from one of our Brand Ambassadors features the Hooray Word Die and the Woohoo Stamp Set. Woohoo has so many elements and is full of possibilities for cards that will suit anyone on your birthday list.
By stamping the base in the rainbow color scheme and then cutting the hooray and popping it up with foam tape, this card has a fun 3-D effect. Change up the color scheme to suit the recipients favorite mix!
Another perfect word die for birthday cards is the Celebrate Word Die. Again, these two clean and simple cards were made by combining sentiments from the Woohoo Stamp Set.
Choose three analogous colors from your CP ink stash and do some quick and easy color blending. Keeping them in rainbow order makes for beautiful blends where the colors overlap.
Cut your Celebrate die from the ink blended paper and you will have an ombre word which really pops with the simple addition of black text on white. A few embellishments and you are done!
Try making a whole stack of these to have on hand. This card design works great for so many people on your list and for a guy or a gal!
I hope you will make some simple birthday cards with word dies to help build your stash. You won't come up empty handed at the next birthday party invite you receive!
