When I started playing with our Catherine Pooler for Ken Oliver Color Bursts it was quite a mess in the clubhouse! We puffed color and sprayed water endlessly to see what kinds of amazing textural results we could create!
Once I got going, I knew I wanted to pair them up with our gorgeous Angel Wing Dies. These wings can look so elegant and ethereal in gold and silver but almost feel a bit rock-n-roll splashed with this rainbow of colors!

The pairing of the intricate die with all this color are so striking alone on black and white. Paired with a simple, scripty “love” word die and you have an eye-catching card!

Here is another done with nearly the same method. The “create beauty” sentiment makes this card a piece of art and the wings sing the Hallelujah Chorus on the clean, white base.

This red and blue mix of the Samba and Suede Shoes Color Bursts looks celestial with the addition of the wings just cut from plain white stock.

Focusing on a mix of Samba and Limoncello creates almost a flame-like feeling on this card. By not removing the cut-outs in the wings give a more concentrated amount of bright, warm color. This card seems to give a nod to the mythical Phoenix.

I had so much fun making each of these cards. To see more on the how-to, check out this YouTube video.
