3 Cards Using 1 Set of Supplies: Wanna Hug Bundle

Catherine CP Designs, CPD Ink, Videos

The Wanna Hug Bundle has two fantastic image sets – Wanna Hug and My Kind Floral – along with the coordinating dies, the Canyon Mini Cover Plate, the Desert Diamonds Background Stamp, Sante Fe Sequins and Prickly Patterned Paper.

The patterned paper creates a ready made color palette for your hand made cards using the products from this collection: Polished, Sauna, Green Tea, Seafoam, Skylight, Juniper, Sugared Lavender.

The first card uses the Canyon Mini Cover Plate as a backdrop for the aloe mini a pot and the sentiment. The patterned paper strip (3-3/4 x 1-1/4″) is layered on a 5-1/4 x 4″ white card layer and adhered to a white card base.

I love the stripe patterned paper layer with the flowers in the next card. I pulled the color palette straight from the paper pack, stamped a bunch of flowers and played with layering options until I was satisfied. I even went back after I originally thought I was done and added more!

I love the extra element of a couple flowers and sequins being tucked behind the card layer.

The final card is my favorite. I stamped the background stamp in Twilight ink on scratch paper first, then on my card layer. This gave me a really light grey image that looks fantastic with the images and the colors in the flowers and the cactus and planter.
