Three Cards to Make for the Holidays Live Stream

Catherine Christmas, CP Designs, CPD Ink, Videos, Winter

Hello my friends! We've been doing Live Streams for quite some time now and I have to tell you…it's pretty much my favorite thing. I get to play with some pretty nifty products, that I helped design…play with paper, ink and GLITTER…while chatting with all of you! It's pretty much a dream come true. If you hang out with us live, THANK YOU! If you view our videos after the fact, THANK YOU! If you haven't viewed our videos yet, I invite you to join us!

Three new embossing powders, word dies, snowman die cuts, background stamps, cover plates and border dies…we'll do it all in this video!

When stamping and die cutting images, I have been creating extra pieces lately. I find this really helpful to have on hand! Then, I can get to the business of creating technique pieces and backgrounds…then all I need to do is grab a sentiment and some images to finish off my cards.

In this video, I shared heat embossing (with some new powders that are in the shop – they sold out already, but no worries! They are on reorder and should be in soon!) on sentiment dies which is another favorite technique of mine.

Over the weekend, I was creating (while watching My Crazy X-Girlfriend…anyone else watch it? It is a bit…well…crazy…!!!) and I stamped and die cut a bunch of the flowers and foliage from the Boughs and Berries stamp set. They were perfect to go with the White Puff Twinkle Embossed Happy and the Geometric Flakes Coverplate.

I finally got to heat emboss the Polar Edge Die – with glitter, of course- and it looks GORGEOUS! I finished off that card with some of those super cute snowmen from the Build-a-Snowman Stamp Set (which now has coordinating dies for the snowman body and arms!!).

Finally, the ink blended It's a Boy with the Shining Star Background embossed with Iced Silver Embossing Powder looks great with a simple Jolly, a Santa hat and an ornament hanging from the “J”.

I love how these cards turned out, do you have a favorite?

Thank you for visiting today!
