4 Techniques, 6 Cards with the Garden Gate Die

CatherineGeneral

The Garden Gate die is an intricate, detailed die that can be used in so many ways! In this video, I used four different techniques and created six hand made cards.

Use the Garden Gate Die cut as a stencil and get TWO technique pieces to add to a card in one fell swoop!

Add 2 Way Glue to the back and let it dry, this creates a repositionable adhesive. The die cut “stencil” will stay in place while ink blending over the top.

Blend each color partially layered over another color. When blending ink colors together, make sure they are next to each other on the color wheel so they blend together beautifully.

Add embossing powder to the Garden Gate Die Cut, emboss both sides and create a window card for another stunning look.

Leave the die cut pieces in the die, adhere to sticky paper and sprinkle on Color Burst powders and spray.

Ink blend over the die with the pieces intact, cover with Embossing Ink, sprinkle on Wanderlust Embossing Glitter and heat.

I had so much fun making these…I started with the two rainbow ink blended pieces, but couldn't stop there!

Not only are there a bunch of ways to use this die, there are so many ways to finish off your cards using the Garden Gate Die. Which one is your favorite?

Thank you for visiting, I hope you are inspired!
