Erika and I were hanging out with StampNation Members the other day when our live stream malfunctioned and I was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A REALLY COOL TECHNIQUE!!! So we decided to hop back on live on Youtube for everyone to take part…check it out!
I used the Life Changing Brushes by Picket Fence Studios to ink blend Be Mine ink over white cardstock.
Next, I sprayed the Rondi's Window with water and pressed the cardstock on top of the background stamp. The water on the stamp reacts with the ink, lightening the color and giving a slight raised look to the cardstock.
I had a spot that was extra wet and had some left over dark ink on it…oh, dear! I quickly decided to cut that part out and add some Black Tie Gala Patterned Paper on the card.
The “Howdy” sentiment from the Ways to Say Hey was a fun way to finish off the card with the cute puppy sitting on the sentiment line!
