Hi everyone, Ilina here, taking over Catherine's blog today! If you are like me and love coloring, then you love the Grateful Heart stamp set! This is a 6″x 8″ set full of awesomeness.
For my card today I started with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of watercolor paper and stamped the florals on the top and bottom with Versamark ink. Using Catherine's 2 1/2″ x 6 1/8″ grid block makes lining up of the images a breeze! Once stamped I used Wow! White embossing powder.
I used All that Jazz, Black Jack and Lime Rickey inks to color the image. I made my palette by smooshing some ink on acrylic block and then picked it up using a water brush. When I was done coloring I set my image aside to dry (you can use heat tool to speed up the process, but I didn't want to mess with the embossed images).
Once it was dry I used Midnight ink to stamp the sentiment and quickly applied Wow! clear embossing powder and heat set it. I added Mustard Nuvo Drops and set it aside to dry (again).
Once my watercolored panel was completely dry, I used piece of fun foam to adhere it to a Sunshine note card.
