Using the Nested Label Dies to Create a Shaped Card with Jo

CatherineChristmas, CP Designs, CPD Ink, Die Cutting

Hi all, Jo here and welcome to a fun shaped frame card where I have used the Nested Labels dies to create a shaped card.

I have first die cut three frame panels to layer and adhere together to create dimension.

Cardbase –  Use a top folding cardbase and die cut with the largest of the dies. This will be the cardbase which all the panels which will be adhered to.

I have added foam tape / adhesive behind each die cut frame panel. I have adhered each down one at a time starting from the thinnest frame on the top layer and working my way down in size.

With the insert of one of the panels I have ink blended with “Something Borrowed” ink.

I have stamped with Midnight Ink with the Holiday Charm stampset which I then copic coloured in. I have listed copic markers and Gelly Roll pens used for the colouring.

I foam mounted the images down and added some shading under the snowman to create the illusion of depth underneath the snowman.

That's my card creation for you today. I hope you liked it and try using your dies as a cardbase for your cards.

Happy Papercrafting

Jo
