Hey folks, Cynde here! Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm very excited to be here today to share some lovely products from the All The Trimmings release!
I'm a huge fan of tags. It doesn't matter what time of the year it is, I love to give them out. I've even been known to tie them on my daughter's backpack like a stealthy Ninja Mom as a surprise for her. Come Christmas time, I really go crazy (ier?) for them. It's even better when I can make a bunch at one time!
I was super excited to be able to use the Nested Label Dies to make some tags! These dies stack beautifully on a card front, but I thought why not make tags too?
Before I did any die cutting, I laid out the images from the Seasonal Sentiments and Borders Stamp Set on Premium White Cardstock, then I laid out the dies around them to get an idea on how big I needed them to be. Then I die cut 4 larger labels and 4 of the smaller ones.
After I had all of my my tags cut, I lined up the border stamp I wanted to use as well as the sentiment on the 4 7/8″ x 6 1/8″ Stamp Block and stamped them in Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink. I stamped both of them first, then removed the sentiment, rotated the block and stamped the border again to create a frame around my sentiment.
For the larger labels, I went direct to paper with Samba and Mardi Gras inks to add a little bit more color to each finished tag.
When I chose the colors to color in my images, I matched them as best I could to the Samba and Mardi Gras Inks so they would have a cohesive look.
To finish these off, I adhered the smaller label on top of the larger label and punched a hole in them with a standard hole punch and tied some twine through the hole.
That's it! Easy peasy.
I hope you enjoyed my tags today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time.
