Hi everyone, Ilina here today taking over Catherine's blog. If you know me, you know very well that I live off of coffee, but I do love tea and this stamp set “Cuppa Tea” makes me love tea even more. The tea pot is just amazing. So I had to use it for today's card.
For my card today I started by stamping the tea pot using All that Jazz ink. Next, using the masking technique, I stamped in the flourish using Party Dress, Lime Rickey and Tiara inks. I stamped the lid and bottom with Party dress and die cut it. Next I stamped the tea cup using Party Dress and All That Jazz inks and die cut as well.
To add extra interest I decided to cut a border using Bordering Sweet die from vellum. I trimmed it to 3″ and adhered to my panel made from Premium White card stock.
Before I adhered the images, I stamped the sentiment using Midnight ink, then using foam squares I adhered the tea pot and tea cup. To finish my card I adhered the panel onto Midnight top folding note card.
