Hey, friends!  Our Canvo Bullet Journal line premiered this week (click here for the posts) and it's been a whirlwind of fun sharing the excitement with you guys.  Many of you are hopping on the bullet journal train with us, but we have NOT forgotten about our love for card making!

Today I have a super fun Shaker Card to share and…you guys… I {heart} this little card so much!  From the frame shaker label to those gorgeous Vegas, Baby sequins to the holiday bits adorning the shaker frame…I just love it!

View the video to see how this card was made.

How cute is this?  Follow these steps:

  • You'll need to die cut one large Nested Label Die for the base – let's call that size #1 for the purposes of this tutorial.
  • Then die cut clear acetate the next size smaller, size #2, and set that aside.
  • Take size #2 as well as the next size smaller, let's call that size #3, and layer the small one inside the larger one and die cut.  This will create a frame.
  • Adhere the frame to acetate and adhere dimensional adhesive to the outer edge of the die cut.
  • Pour a pile of sequins on the middle of size #1 , then add the frame with acetate over the top of this.

If this is confusing, be sure to watch the video so you can see it in action!

My last shaker card used the same label dies, click here to view

Hope you enjoyed today's shaker card video tutorial!  I had a ball making it!  Happy Stamping, CP
