Our newest release, All the Trimmings, is now in the shop! It's been a fun few days with the Creative Team sharing projects and ideas on how to trim the upcoming holiday season. I'm sure you have a slew of ideas running around in your head by now!
If you missed our hops, here's a rundown:
Here is a look at some of the projects our Creative Team Members made with this release. I could stare at these amazing projects all day long!
Ok, so hurry over, grab your new goodies (some of our items are getting low on stock…we will restock, but it will take a few weeks!!!), then come back for the video tutorial. 🙂
I've got a new project for you today using the Flourish Background Stamp, the Holiday Charms Stamps and Dies, Sentiments and Borders Stamp Set, Nested Labels Dies and our new ink Mardi Gras and Suede Shoes!
I LOVE the white emboss resist technique!
Stamp your image on white cardstock with Versamark or embossing ink, cover it with white embossing powder and heat.
Next, using an ink blending took, blend Suede Shoes from one corner towards the center and Mardi Gras from the other corner to the center.
Use a clean cloth to wipe down your technique piece to remove any excess ink that is on the white embossed image.
It's like magic! The embossed image resists the ink and stays white! People will definitely be impressed when you send them a card using this technique.
I also used my Distress Sprayer to spray a bit of water over the design. You can see some fun water droplets which creates a really interesting effect on the background.
The little Poinsettia…can we talk about it for a second? That sweet image is from the Holiday Charms Stamp Set and I showed a trick on how to stamp and die cut a lot of these in a super efficient manner on THIS VIDEO.
I then colored it in with Rockin' Red and Samba ink and a Blender Pen. I love images like this…a small little bit of coloring and you have a great accent piece for your card making projects.
All of these products are now available in the shop and are waiting to head your way for some holiday card making fun! Click here to see all the new goodies, or click the images below to see them in the shop.
