Hi Everyone! Susan here with a card that I found very relaxing to make. If you like coloring then you'll enjoy making a card like this.
I started by taking the smaller poinsettia images and the heart from the Festive Trimmings stamp set and inked them up with Rockin' Red and Garden Green inks. I stamped them randomly onto a piece of white cardstock that I cut to 4 x 5 ¼”.
Next I settled in with a cuppa chai, the card panel and a black marker and colored in all of the white space. I colored it twice to get a solid black to contrast with the stamped images. This took some time, but I think it was worth it.
To add even more interest to the background, I stamped the little dot stamps from the same set in Versamark ink and then heat set them with white embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment from Holiday Mix with Midnight ink onto a piece of white cardstock and then added some greenery and berries. To finish the card I added a little banner/twine detail and added some sparkle to the poinsettia and berries.
