Hello crafty friends! Crystal Thompson here guest designing for this very special Stamp of Approval release, and I'm so excited to be on Catherine's blog today showing one of my favorite cards I created using the Home for the Holidays Collection.
For this card I wanted a pattern of all things Christmas, and what better way to use the Festive Trimmings stamp set as a background.
To make this card, I trimmed my cardbase of a green cardstock that was a shade lighter than Eucalyptus ink. I stamped the Festive Trimmings icons on the green cardstock with Eucalyptus .
Then with red cardstock to match, Rockin' Red, the Merry Christmas Layered Word Dies were cut and placed over a piece of white cardstock stamped in Rockin' Red with the “wishes” from Holiday Mix Stamp Set.

To add more festive flair, I made a ribbon by stamping the Cozy Borders Stamp Set with Rockin' Red and placing it under the “wishes” cardstock.
As a finishing touch, I splattered gold watercolor paint over the whole thing and added gold sequins.
