Hi, this is Jen from Jen's Ink Spot here today with a fun Christmas-present wrapping idea using products from the Home from the Holidays Stamp of Approval collection. Wrapping Christmas presents doesn't have to be tedious and boring. Why not add a little flair to your presents this year?
I started by taking a piece of kraft wrapping paper and cutting it to the size I needed to wrap my present in. Then, I stamped snowflakes from the Christmas Cookies stamp set with VersaMark ink all over the paper. I then embossed each snowflake with gold embossing powder.
Catherine carries many great gold embossing powders and glitters that would work well for this project including Fools Good & Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter. I tried not to stamp too many snowflakes as I knew that I wanted to add some more decorations to the top of the box and didn't want it to be too busy.
I die cut the beautiful Merry Christmas Layered Word Die. The background layer I die cut in white cardstock and then I used a gold cardstock for the actual words that would layer on top. I used a hole punch to punch holes in each side of the sentiment so that I could string red twine through each to tie it onto my package.
After wrapping my present & assembling those pieces I finished it off by tucking some Christmas greenery behind the sentiment for added elegance. Now the gift is ready to go under the Christmas tree!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed this fun Christmas gift wrapping idea.
