Today I have a colourful one-layer card using some of the goodies from the Counting Blessings Collection.
To start I drew in very faint pencil lines with a ruler to act as a guide for my stamping. I then took the solid drop image from the Leaf Motifs stamp set and stamped this along the pencil guide lines the colours I used for this rainbow effect are Tiara, Lime Ricky, All that Jazz, Flirty Fushia, Rockin Red and Orange Twist.
Once I had done all of the colourful stamping, I took one of the outline images from the set and stamped this on top of the colourful drop images in Midnight ink. When these where all dry I then erased the pencil guide lines.
For the sentiment I stamped ‘thankful' from Autumn Blessings Stamp Set and in Midnight ink and clear heat embossed it to make it stand out more from the stamped images behind it. To make it pop a little more I then went around it with a white gel pen. To finish off the sentiment I added smaller words from the same set.
