Hi everyone! It’s Josefine and today I wanted to share some envelope art with you. I don’t know about you, but I usually send my cards in a normal envelope – without any decoration. Time to change that.
The “Say it in Diamonds” and the “Happiness Enclosed” stamp sets are perfect for that. Both have a lot of great geometrical shapes in it which allowed me to create some colorful patterns for the envelopes. I started by creating a mask to cover the address field.
But first I outlined the address area. I covered the envelope with the bigger part of the masking paper (the one with the hole in it) and stamped the striped border all around it in the inside of the hole with Black Jack.
Now I switched the parts of the masks and covered the address field. For both envelopes, I picked one of the sentiment diamonds, stamped it in a dark color and then stamped some of the flower diamonds around it in lighter colors.
My favorite part is to reveal the mask and see how it looks like. I was not disappointed.
Both envelopes needed a little bit of extra, so I stamped some of the smaller images in between and around the address field. I also added one of the handwritten sentiments to the top of the address field of the orange colored envelope.
These are the colors I used.
For the orange envelope: Limoncello, Tiara, Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti
For the purple envelope: Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, Flirty Fuchsia and Grape Crush
I just need to work on my hand writing 😉
Thanks so much for stopping by.
