CatherineBack to Basics, Birthday, Christmas, CP Designs, CPD Ink, Die Cutting, Floral, Masking

Building on this week's Back to Basics series, we'll use the supplies and techniques we've used all week, this time incorporating Circle Dies!

A set of circle dies is a must have for every craft room because they are so versatile.  We'll look at three ways to use them in this video tutorial:

  • Die cutting circle stamps
  • Masking
  • Window/Peekaboo Cards

Circle dies cut out perfect circle shapes for your circle stamps making it really easy to add fun layers to your cards.

THIS PLAID!!!  Two of our creative friends made plaids with the the For Everything Stamp Set and I think they were pretty brilliant, here are the links to their cards:

Thank you ladies for creating awesome and inspiring me!

Another fun way to add dimension to your cards is to die cut a circle through the top card layer.  Stamp inside it, around it and layer over it.

Circle die cuts are great to use with the masking technique!  It creates a great backdrop for your sentiments and main images.
