Watercolored Leaves for Fall Card Making with Laurel

CatherineCP Designs, CPD Ink, Fall, Gallery, Halloween & Fall, Projects, Watercolor

Hello there! Laurel Beard here with you today sharing a colorful Autumn card using some products from the Kind of Wonderful release.

I chose to use bold colors to really showcase the details of this layering set but also added a watercolored effect too! You can do both!

The leaves are a 4 step layering process, but for this card I only used 3 of the layers. The final layer I chose to heat emboss. Let me tell you how I did it because it is super simple. Catherine's inks work beautifully with water techniques.
  • Stamp your first layer in the lightest color ink (all ink colors used are listed below).
  • Stamp the next layer in a darker color.
  • Ink your  final layer with versamark ink and heat set with the embossing powder color of your choice.
  • Heavily spray your panel with water so all the colors will move around with the water.
  • Adhere sentiment strip.

Easy peasy! Thanks so much for letting me visit with you all today! See you next time!
