Hello! Jen Carter here with you today from Jen's Ink Spot. Today I am sharing a cutesy Halloween card. The Spider Web Background stamp is such a cool design! I made that my starting point.
I started with a piece of lime green cardstock and stamped the Spider Web Background stamp with VersaMark ink to make a watermark on the paper. I next stamped the background again with Midnight ink on purple cardstock and then trimmed the piece down to 3 5/8″ x 5″.
I die cut two spiders with the Everything but the Broom die set out of white cardstock and then stamped the coordinating spider image from the Everything but the Broom stamp set.
I used some black twine to make a path for each spider tucking one twine end behind the spider. The other end of the twine I pushed through a hole on the card panel that I had made with a 1/16″ hole punch. I stamped the sentiments from the Spooky Hollow stamp set on Midnight cardstock twice, embossed them in white and then cut them down to size. They were popped up with dimensional tape.
To finish the card, I wrapped some black twine around the green card panel. I then popped the purple cardstock up with dimensional tape and attached it at an angle to the green card panel.
This was a quick card to put together and would be a fairly easy design to mass produce.
Thank you for joining me today!
