Who's There!? lol…we have been so excited to release this product, y'all! A cover plate with spooky eyeballs peeking out? Just brilliant. And so much fun. We've been brainstorming ideas on ways to use this cover plate, just wait for the blog hops with the Creative Team (begins on Wednesday!) because they have some great ideas to share.
For this card, I used it in the way we intended (though, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for another idea!) and made a fun Halloween card. View the video for all the details.
Start by die cutting a piece of Midnight Cardstock with the Who's There Cover Plate. The Cover Plate will cut your layer to an A2 card size, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.
Next, stamp the Spider Web Background Stamp with WOW Embossing Ink, pour Glow in the Dark Embossing Powder over it and heat.
Next, run your Tiara ink pad over a layer over a 4 x 5-1/4″ card layer and quickly, while it's still wet, pour on the Glow in the Dark Embossing Powder over it, then heat. You may want to heat emboss from underneath so you don't blow any powder off your cardstock.
Stamp a “Boo” banner, add to the spooky eyes layer and add to your card with dimensional adhesive.
Ready to make it GLOW? Take it outside first, then go in the dark!
BAM! You've got some spooky eyes peeking out from a Glow in the Dark spider web! HOW FUN IS THIS!!!?????
LOOKING (get it?) for another way to use this Cover Plate? Save the positive die cuts…and add them to a card like this.
“EYE” Love you. How fun is this? I'm giddy.
Some of these products are available in our shop now and the rest will hit on Wednesday.
Unless you're a StampNation Member…they get to shop early! Ordering links will come out Tuesday, August 14 at 3pm eastern.
We have more fun products to share over the next few days, so stay tuned!
