I love this tried and true technique of combining masking and sponging for a backdrop for hand made cards and felt like it worked perfectly with the images from the Fearless Pursuit Stamp Set.
I stamped my palm tree (and the coconuts!) images first, then the sentiment. “Follow your soul it knows the way”….I love that so much!
I then used my 2 Way Glue Pen and ran some glue down the edge of two pieces of computer paper, then let it dry. Be sure it's dry all the way because it will then be temporary adhesive and is perfect for using for the masking technique!
Once I added my mask, I sponged Sauna and Mandarin Spice ink over the top, removed the mask and I had a great backdrop for my tree images.
A few gold glittery Nuvo Drops and I was done!
