Welcome to our Blog Hop with WOW Embossing Powder! We have a bit of a love affair going on with WOW and if you are new to their embossing powders, it’s simple.
The product. WOW Embossing Powders and Glitters have a built-in anti-static agent in them which eliminates the need for an embossing bag or powder tool to remove static from your cardstock. The powder won’t stick to it!
The Glitter. WOW makes the most amazing Embossing Glitters in so many colors, mixes, shades, you’ll be like a kid in a candy store! We added a few more colors last week and they sold out in hours! We will have a restock on Monday due to the speedy shipment! YIPPPEEEE!
The peeps. The people that work for WOW Embossing Powder are fun, down to earth and so creative. We just LOVE them! Randall and I spent a day with Marion and Richard and visited WOW headquarters in St. Albans, England earlier this month and we had an absolute blast! (we might be cooking something up!)
Because of all this, we are PUMPED to be hopping with them and their team today!
When I began working on this card, I knew I wanted to make two cards. When creating a technique piece, cutting a die cut from the center of the card, then using the negative and the positive piece on two different cards is a great way to get the most out of that technique piece!
In the video, I’ll share how I had a bit of a stumble with the second card. I ended up trying something a bit different and I love how it came out!
On to the video tutorial…
I’m a bit obsessed with the color combo of Aquatini, Lime Rickey and Flirty Fuchsia right now and I especially love to use it when I can blend the colors together. Lime Rickey and Aquatini blend to a gorgeous and unexpected Emerald Green and Aquatini and Flirty Fuchsia blend to a really gorgeous deep purple.
Catherine Pooler Ink stays wet for a few seconds, so you can add embossing powder or glitter over it and emboss your image! The background stamp above and the “Thanks” in the card below, uses Singing in the Rain Embossing Glitter and the second card uses Turkish Nights.

This card is a bit different and took me a bit to figure out what I wanted to do. I really like the offset half circles and the black and white “You made my day”. I think I’ll use this layout again!
Thank you SO MUCH for visiting with us today and hopping along!
