SOA_LITA_BlogHop1Welcome to the first day of Blog Hops celebrating the Love is in the Air Stamp of Approval Collection!

Over the next three days, our Creative Team will be sharing loads of fabulous products using the stamps and dies in this collection.

If you are new to Stamp of Approval, we did a Facebook Live yesterday giving some history of this product, how it came about and why we put these collections together.  You can see that here.

In a nutshell, I wanted to put a quarterly collection of products together that GO together!  When your box hits your doorstep, just grab some cardstock and ink, download your Project Guide and the cardstock will be flyin'!

The Love is in the Air collection includes One 6 x 8 stamp set, three 4 x 6 stamp sets, one set of layering dies, a sentiment die and an accent die.

Oh!  And an exclusive, brand new, never seen before ink pad! 🙂

If you missed the product reveals this week, you can find them here:

The World Awaits 22The World Awaits Stamp Set: This is one of the most unique stamp sets in our entire line….and there is something a bit interesting about it.  You will see what I mean when you open your box and I think you'll get a giggle out of it 😉

Additional new products hitting the shop with this release:

ADD-ON DIES: Love is in the Air and Bon Voyage stamp sets both have coordinating dies that you can add to your order when you check out.

NEW BLOCKS:  We will have two new blocks in our store.

Round Block:  We have carried a round block for some time now, but we have a brand spankin' new design.  This new round block is our own design and has the same grid, finger grooves and light weight of our other blocks.

Round Block

Long Border Block:  We also have a brand new size!  Meet our 6-1/8 x 2-1/2″ Acrylic Grid Block perfect for border stamps and other long, narrow stamps!

Long border block

These are our definition of the perfect Acrylic Grid Stamping Block and we worked with the manufacturer for almost a year to make them awesome.  These are exclusive to us, you won’t find them anywhere else!

Why do we love them?

  • the indentations fit your fingers perfectly
  • the grids to help you line up your stamps
  • three sizes we use the most
  • lightweight for their size

Let's check out a few projects and a video tutorial using goodies from the Love is in the Air Collection, shall we?

Emboss Resist and Inlaid Die Cutting Technique

The flowers from The World Awaits Stamp Set…sigh…I just love them!  I've used them in so many ways already and I've just gotten started!

Stamp them in Versamark, pour white embossing powder over, then heat….then use your Ink Blending Tool to sponge ink over the top = Emboss Resist Technique.  And I never grow tired of it.

Our inks are great for ink blending because even though they are a dye ink, which are known to be quick drying, they stay wet for a few seconds.  This gives you time to blend and smooth out your color since it doesn't dry instantly.

LITA The World Awaits Emboss ResistBefore the ink blending, I die cut the Love Die and set it aside so it stayed white, but still had the fun flowers embossed on them.  I love the resulting look!

Stamp of Approval Products used:

  • The World Awaits Stamp Set
  • Love is in the Air Stamp Set
  • Postage Stamp Die
  • Love Die

A second card using the Postage Stamp Dies, Love is in the Air Stamp Set, Love Die and the Happiness Enclosed Stamp Set.

LITA Love is in the AirFor this card, I used the Postage Stamp Die to cut my layers, I stamped the arrows and hearts from the Love is in the Air stamp set, then I added the Love Die on top.  I sponged Flirty Fuscia with a heavy hand on the left, then faded out to Sweet Sixteen ink.

I think my favorite part of this card is where I stamped the circle stamp from the Happiness Enclosed Stamp Set in Black Jack on Mirrors cardstock.  It resulted in a subtle tone-on-tone stamped image peeking out from behind the layer.  Totally cool look!

Hope you enjoyed these projects, now onto the info on how you can WIN!
