Today is our 3rd and final blog hop day! TOMORROW the Candy Cane Lane Collection goes on sale to the wait list!
SOA release day is always like Christmas morning – I can't WAIT! Once ordering opens, the anticipation begins…I sit on pins and needles waiting to begin seeing photos of you all with your boxes. It's kinda like the Santa Tracker. So we've got it backwards…Christmas Day, THEN Christmas Eve. Hahaha!
With our last collection, the record from ordering to arriving on the doorstep was 17 hours. I have no earthly idea how that is humanly possible, but it happened!
If you missed our previous days, here is a recap…the preview days will show you the first 6 products in the collection. The first blog hop day shows you the final product. And every day I share different projects made with just this collection of stamps and dies.

Your holiday card making this year is going to be EASY and it's going to be FUN.
In this video, we'll use one embossing background piece and die cut it with the large label and in one feel swoop we have a fabulous backdrop for a card and a cut out for a tag! BAM!
Label Die Cut Holiday Card and Tag
I have a confession…this was an “interesting” video to make. I actually made a completely different card with this gold embossed Peppermint Background at first.
I added a white panel over the gold background, topped it off with a greeting and a few peppermints. And it wasn't doing it for me.
You know…I didn't even plan to tell you this story, but since I did, I'll share the card with you. I sent it to Maureen and asked what was “wrong” with it…sorry about the quality of this photo…but whaddaya gonna do? Here it is…
Remember the other day when I talked about how I don't love every card I make, and when I do, I get really excited?
Well, there's really nothing “wrong” with this card…but I wasn't jumping up and down. There was something just “off” about it.
I pulled off the panel, die cut through the middle, added my sentiment and candy canes and I liked this so much better!
Leave me a comment and let me know what YOU would change about the card above? I would love to know!
So you can see how I removed the white panel, cut through the embossed piece (which gave me a card AND a tag! YAY!) and embellished the positive and the negative die cuts.
Candy Canes and holly and berries from the Candy Cane Lane Stamp Set and Dies and the Merry Label Dies accented the labels perfectly!
Which projects so far do you see yourself CASEing first? Or will you create something entirely new with the products of this amazing collection?
WIN the Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Collection: THREE commenters will be chosen at random from all the comments on all the blogs (one each day). The more blogs you comment on, the better your chance in winning!
