SN Classroom Highlights for April

Catherine Projects

Each month I’m blown away by the talent of the StampNation Dream Tea13073001_10209377840151813_1865620931_om.  These ladies are true artists, teaching us about new products, techniques, design theory and so much more.

Laurel Beard kicked off the month with a video tutorial teaching us how to Blend with Clarity Stencil Brushes.

Clarity Brushes allow you to quickly stencil a background without getting the harsh lines that you can sometimes get with sponges or blending tools.  Laurel shows us different ways to use the brushes, explains how to clean them and gives her true opinion on whether or not they are worth the cost.  This is a great in depth look at a product many of us haven’t seen!

Kristie Goulet, our trends go-to-gal, featured Beverages in her 4oth Trends Article.

Whether a steamy cup of cocoa or an iced latte, beverages have take the paper crafting world by storm.  Kristie shared four cards with our members featuring all of our favorite drinks!  Her clean and graphic style and unique use of supplies is sure to get your mojo flowing.

Did you know that our design team member Heather North is also a talented quilter?  This month Heather’s lesson focused on Quilting & Color Theory.

From Heather’s lesson you’ll learn a few quilting patterns like the 9 Block and the Flying Geese Formation as well as learn about color contrast and monochromatic designs.  This lesson is a must see for anyone that loves playing with pattern.

Our designers are taking the week off from the Friday Features this week as we prepare for the upcoming Inspiration Nation event that begins on Monday, May 2nd.
