Watercoloring Flowers with Distress Markers
I spent a couple hours (nope! This girl's not a natural watercolorist!) working on the best and easiest way to watercolor the Mondo Magnolia stamp set. This ended up being SO DARNED EASY, I knew I had to make a quick video showing you how!
I added some Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed and Abandoned Coral to the center, cut it out with the Mondo Magnolia Dies, added some Stickles and popped it up in the center.
A simple white embossed sentiment on a black strip of cardstock with some sequins finished this card off.
While I was playing and watercoloring, I made this flower and cut it out. I sponged my card base with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, stamped Bokeh Dots in Gold Delicata Ink and splattered the background with some water.
I added the flower to the card base and added the “Be You tiful” die cut which is covered in Stickles as well.
The fun begins in the CLASSroom and there is also a Grand Giveaway! To enter, be sure to leave a comment there, and at every stop along the hop by May 5th! Winners will be announced May 8th.
Happy hoppin’!

Once I got started with this set, I couldn't stop! Here's another watercolored card I made. This time I watercolored the background, cut out the flower and stamped it on the card base. I have a video tutorial on how to do this super quickly and easily – coming soon!
